Here is the youtube link on the "Blind competition on numerical simulation of FRC beams", by the time the test was carried out, all the participants had submitted their simulations beforehand.

It was organised by Prof. Joaquim Barros, University of Minho, Portugal, leader of the task group of fib2.4.2 on numerical modelling of fiber reinforced concrete.

Steel fiber reinforcement has been around since the 1970s and continues to evolve with time. The bents and hooks are crucial to the fiber’s anchoring performance and subsequent concrete ductility.

Steel fibres are often used as structural fibres. What type of steel fibres lead to FRC with better performance given the same matrix?
